Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Ball Gown

Winter-white, the color worn by many former First Lady’s was Michelle Obama’s choice for the Inaugural Ball. Michelle has amazed us once again by her daring choice by fashion designer newcomer Jason Wu. The off-shoulder winter-white chiffon dress worn by Michelle Obama, displayed her elegant and toned arms. (I got to get busy with my workout!) Once again Michelle sends a message to everyone, she plays by her own rules. The dress sparkled with beautiful embellishments and she just glowed in the moment. Although the train appeared problematic at times, Michelle continued on with elegance and grace.

When asked how he felt about Michelle choosing his gown for the ball, Mr. Wu responded “its a dream come true.”

AMERICA’S FIRST DAUGHTERS

Inauguration Obama  MALIA AND SASHA are America’s newest sweethearts and America’s First Daughters! Their highly spirited daughters seemed to be unfazed by the roar of applause and world admiration for their father, President Obama.

Dressed to a “T” in customized coats from J.Crew’s Crewcuts line for kids, they were a perfectly polished pair with mega-white smiles to match.

For their father’s inauguration Malia, 10 wore a striking periwinkle blue coat with a matching satin belt, and Sasha, 7 looked colorful and radiant in her coral ensemble matched only by her bubbly personality.

I pray they are kept safe and grounded, and my dream of seeing children of color adored and revered has come to pass.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR FIRST DAUGHTERS!

President, Barack Obama

TODAY, history was44th-pres made. Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as our 44th President, our nation first African-American President. A new day has come to America. Like many, I’m lost for words. However, the picture of an African-American first family will FOREVER live on and forever embedded in the halls of history.

CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT OBAMA AND FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA!
