President, Barack Obama

TODAY, history was44th-pres made. Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as our 44th President, our nation first African-American President. A new day has come to America. Like many, I’m lost for words. However, the picture of an African-American first family will FOREVER live on and forever embedded in the halls of history.

CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT OBAMA AND FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA!

Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Although we dare not be focused on her outfit – come on, of course we are!

For the swearing-in ceremony of her husband, President Barack H. Obama, our new First Lady Michelle emerged in a striking rich color of yellow-gold, powerfully feminine, yet elegant and stately. Cuban-American fashion designer Isabel Toledo was First Lady Michelle Obama’s pick for this historic event. I’m loving her decision to wear bold and daring colors, which compliment her notably tall stature. I believe Michelle will continue to surprise us with a style sense uniquely her own, a style which says I’m over 40 but, I have too much work to do to dress or look old. She truly is a fantastic role model for all women!

Michelle has proven she will take risks and I certainly admire and applaud her glitzy, yet elegant choice today.
